Committee and Volunteer Positions

We are always looking for keen volunteers to help deliver our core programs, to run recreational trips for any of our activities, or to help out with our social events. Reach out to us at ACCYukon@gmail.com and let us know your experience and what you’re interested in! A program coordinator will be in touch.

Volunteers are able to get access to our club pro-deals and can earn credits towards course fees.

Treasurer

Volunteer
As Treasurer, you manage the club’s finances to ensure we are being fiscally responsible. You provide reimbursements to Board Members and Volunteers and produce the Annual Budget and Finance Reports (much easier than it sounds). In addition to those responsibilities you get to participate in all other Board discussions related to programming and events.

Stewardship & Access Director

Stewardship & Access Director

Volunteer
The Stewardship & Access Director’s role is to Chair the Stewardship & Access Committee, made up of members of the general alpine outdoor community. The goal of this committee is to collaborate with and advocate to land management authorities, particularly First Nations, in ensuring the community’s voice is being heard and that activities are being performed respectfully. Thus, this role should be filled by someone who has knowledge of the unique land management policies in the territory.
