The Stewardship & Access Director’s role is to Chair the Stewardship & Access Committee, made up of members of the general alpine outdoor community. The goal of this committee is to collaborate with and advocate to land management authorities, particularly First Nations, in ensuring the community’s voice is being heard and that activities are being performed respectfully. Thus, this role should be filled by someone who has knowledge of the unique land management policies in the territory.

Are you excited to organize winter backcountry skiing trips and our intro to backcountry skiing program? Or maybe you are keen to help organize ice climbing trips training a festival? Join the ACC Yukon Section board and work with us to grow Yukon’s adventure community.

If you are interested in connecting with other members to plan for club trips get in contact. We are looking for members interested to plan for multi-day club trips, develop ACC Yukon Trip leader reference, and plan for possible spring/summer basecamp trips for skiing and climbing.
